If you follow Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuk or other motivational speakers/business leaders, you may have heard them talk about a few of the following common misconceptions.

As shown above, Grant Cardone lays out the meaning on some common excuses. In short, we need fewer excuses and more action. In order to be successful, you are going to have to get past the people who are telling you that it is not possible. And unfortunately, the loudest voice is often our own.
How much time are you really putting towards your goals? Instead of accepting defeatism, look for new solutions. Quitting may be an easier option, but in the end, action leads to results and is far more satisfying. Instead of looking for someone to blame for your failures, realizes your mistakes and take action. Of course, only you can see your own vision and if you can't, nobody else ever will.
Although it may seem easier to shift the blame, it's important to look at yourself first. You can't control what others do, but you can control your own actions. Take personal responsibility and learn to hold yourself accountable in an objective way. Numbers are often more truthful than what we tell ourselves.
Have a clear list of things to do each day. Personally, I try to create a schedule each night for the following day. By doing this with a friend, we can hold each other accountable. It's important to be consistent while trying to make it a habit.
By having a clear schedule, it will be easier to stay focused and you will accomplish much more. I like to more heavily weight my mornings or afternoons because I know distractions or unscheduled tasks commonly occupy my evenings.

Daily Planner is fairly simple and you can modify it. Also, I suggest finding a partner who can keep you accountable. Mark off tasks during the day to keep track of where you are at and leave some unscheduled time for unexpected events. Be sure to spend time each day to write down what you are grateful for. Not to mention, writing down what you are grateful for will help you to view the world more positively.
All in all, you are capable of accomplishing the things that you want and achieving your goals. But, only if you stop making common excuses or false statements for your own shortcomings and instead, take action. Use some of the tips that we suggested above and start checking things off of your to-do list.
